have discovered 350 new species of cicadas

WWF A dossier contains the result of ten years of research in the Himalayas. They have discovered 350 new species are already endangered because of global warming. Among them is the world's smallest deer, flying frog and a gecko that lives on Earth hundreds of millions of years.
The study is a summary of the discoveries made by various scientists over the 1998 to 2008, in remote and mountainous valleys that run from northeast India, the northern tip of Myanmar, to Nepal and the southern regions of the Tibet autonomous area.

Experts have classified more than 350 species until that time unknown in the eastern Himalayan region: 244 plants, 16 amphibians, 16 reptiles, 14 fish, 2 birds, 2 mammals and at least 60 new invertebrate. Among them a bright green frog that flies (Rhacophorus suffered) membranes using her long red feet to soar into the air, a leaf deer (Muntiacos putaoensis) the smallest and oldest in the world and a salamander that lives for a hundred million years has been discovered in an amber mine Hukawang Valley in the Himalayan region of northern tip of Myanmar. The one with the highest concentration of Bengal tigers and, above all, is the last bastion of the Indian rhinoceros.

While we celebrate the discovery of unknown life forms, unfortunately, we have to pick up the alarm supposed to know that in the eastern Himalayas are at risk of extinction a surprising variety of species: ten thousand plants, 300 species of mammals, 977 birds, 176 reptiles, 105 amphibians and 269 freshwater fish. These data themselves are discussed.

Let's put all our energies on the results of the United Nations Conference on climate in Copenhagen from 7 to December 18 next, when all world leaders will meet to make a deal that will end the Kyoto Protocol. The devastation caused by climate change will stop only with the courage and unity of all people rich and poor all together. Because we will all travel on this train.
